Andorra has become a regular stop on camper routes through the Pyrenees, and it makes sense: short distances, mountain roads and passes that link up in a few hours. The hard part is finding somewhere to stop with all the services.
The services that actually matter
On a long trip the essentials are always the same: electrical hook-up, a water point, a waste disposal point and a sanitary block with hot water. If the pitch is also flat and easy to reach, you save yourself an awkward manoeuvre in a large vehicle.
How campsite pricing works
A common question from anyone who has never camped with a vehicle: you do not pay per pitch, you pay per person and per item. Each companion has a price, and so does the vehicle, by size. An example with our rates:
- Adult: €7.00 · Child aged 3 to 10: €5.00
- Motorhome or camper van: €18.00
- Large campervan: €18.00 · Medium campervan: €15.00 · Mini campervan: €12.00
- Large vehicle (over 7 m): €20.00 · Car: €7.00 · Motorbike: €5.00
Where to stop in Canillo
Jan Ramon campsite is built for exactly this: wide, flat, easy-access pitches with a 3 amp hook-up, water and waste points, and a quiet atmosphere away from the tourist bustle. Santa Creu campsite, in the centre of the village, is the choice if you would rather have everything within walking distance.
Important: both campsites are closed until 1 June 2027. In the meantime, if you are passing through Andorra, the ApartHotel and the bungalows are open all year.
